Let’s up the stakes, shall we? In previous years we’ve stoked rivalries among your favorite movie and culture podcasters with a competitive Podcasters Division, where hosts of shows like Blank Check, Scott Hasn’t Seen, and MFL commissioner Joe Reid’s own This Had Oscar Buzz square off to see who has the best ballot. We didn’t want to let those pod people have all the fun, so this year we’ve included a few of our favorite newsletters as well, like former New York staffer Max Read’s Read Max and Ira Madison III’s III in an expanded Creators Division.

In addition to seeing how these movie experts are stacking up against one another, you’ll be able to play along, too. Most of the participating shows and newsletters will be hosting mini-leagues where listeners or readers can compete against one another and their favorite creatives. Once scoring begins, you’ll be able to filter the leaderboard by Creators Division (as well as by Vulture Staff and by individual mini-leagues.)
