Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Bigg Boss 17 fame Neil Bhatt is all set to make a comeback on television with an upcoming daily soap. Although rumors were strong that he is participating in Rohit Shetty‘s Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, it turns out these news were not true. It is stated that Neil has signed Colors’ upcoming TV show. The show will apparently be high on romance, with the main story highlighting integral issues of today’s society. Now, as per recent reports, the makers have zeroed in on the female lead, and she is none other than TV actress Ankita Gupta‘s co-star Neha Rana.

Neha Rana to be the female lead of Neil Bhatt’s upcoming show?

As per a report in Gossip TV, Neha Rana has been finalized as the female lead protagonist in Neil Bhatt‘s upcoming new show. The makers wanted a relatively fresh face but also someone who has some experience in acting, and hence Neha fit the part perfectly. The makers even liked Neha and Neil’s mock shoot, where their on-screen chemistry was perfect according to the requirement of the show. For those unaware, Neha Rana is widely known for the Ankit Gupta and Gautam Vig-starrer show Junooniyatt, where she portrayed the character of Ilahi Dosanjh. At first, viewers didn’t accept Neha with open arms as they were so used to seeing Ankit on screen only with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. However, slowly Neha won audience hearts with her impeccable acting skills. Junooniyat, which was launched in February 2023, was wrapped up within a few months in November 2023. Talking about Neil Bhatt’s upcoming new show its produced by Saurabh Tiwari. As of now, there has been no official confirmation about the above show from Neil or the channel. It is said that the makers will soon make an official confirmation about the same.
