Alia Bhatt is having a busy year despite having just one release in 2024. The actress is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming action drama Jigra. A teaser trailer for the same was released last week and has received an amazing response. Directed by Vasan Bala, the film also stars Vedang Raina in the lead role. The first stop Alia Bhatt has taken to promote her upcoming movie is Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show. A trailer for the same was released today and Alia was seen on the show with Vedang Raina and Karan Johar. On the show, Alia addressed herself in a way we’ve never heard before. As our entertainment news readers know, whenever a guest arrives on Kapil Sharma’s show, the team dresses up as their popular characters to make them laugh. We see Sunil Grover in a double braided hairstyle wearing a saree that resembles Bhatt’s saree in her 2023 hit film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. When Grover asks Alia if she’s Alia Bhatt, the actress says she’s ‘Alia Bhatt-Kapoor’. Sunil has an awkward reaction to it, as if he knows there’s only one Alia and no one can copy her. The overall trailer featuring other big stars will definitely leave you in splits. This is the first time the Darlings actress has addressed herself as ‘Alia Bhatt Kapoor’. Alia and Ranbir Kapoor have been married for over two years now and they also have a daughter named Raha Kapoor. Further, on the show, Kiku Sharda dresses up as Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi character. We see the actress say her popular ‘boyfriend se gulu gulu’ line from Gully Boy.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions has co-produced Jigra with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It is Alia’s second movie as a producer after her 2022 film Darlings. Bhatt’s movie is slated to hit theatres on October 11, 2024.

Further, we will see Alia in action mode again with YRF’s upcoming spy movie Alpha. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film also stars Munjya star Sharvari.
