Samarth Jurel has been known for his fun and happy side on Bigg Boss 17. He was also known for his ugly fights with girlfriend, Isha Malviya’s ex-boyfriend, Abhishek Kumar. Samarth Jurel had entered Bigg Boss 17 as a wild card contestant and became one of the strongest contestants on the show. He could not reach the finale but won hearts for his fun side. People know him as the prankster and as the one who keeps cracking jokes and making everyone laugh. However, recently, he had to face a lot of trolling because of his April Fool’s Day post. Later, he made another post clarifying that it was just an April Fool’s Day prank. Post that, people started trolling him for making fun of the sentiments. He was called the male version of Poonam Pandey.

Samarth reacts to being labeled as Poonam Pandey’s male version

For the unversed, Poonam Pandey had recently faked her death to spread awareness about cervical cancer. She was badly trolled for making fun of such a serious topic. Fans and even her close friends slammed her for this dirty joke. Now, Samarth was also slammed and was called the male Poonam Pandey. Samarth has now reacted to the same. He spoke to India Forums and said that the prank was not to hurt anyone and he had no such intentions. Samarth shared that he posted a picture of himself in the hospital with a thumbs-up, and within 30 seconds, he posted a video revealing it was a prank.

He added that he did not pretend to be dead and took a day to reveal the truth and it was just a prank and that his fans know how mischievous he is.
