Salman Khan seems to be under the radar of gangster Lawrence Bisnoi. Back in April, two gunmen opened fired outside Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai. Many arrests took place post the investigation. Now, the latest reports state that police have arrested four more members of Lawrence Bishnoi gang for hatching a plan to kill the Dabangg actor. As per reports, the Navi Mumbai Police arrested four members of Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly planning an attack on Salman Khan’s car near his Panvel farmhouse. Reports also mention that the same kind of pistol was used to open fire at late Siddhu Moosewala. The police managed to thwart the plan by infiltrating social media activities of Lawrence Bishnoi gang members. Vivek Pansare, Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone II (Panvel), revealed that an inspector named Nitin Thackeray had received inputs in September-October about a plan being made to harm a very popular personality. Then, the police and the informers infiltrated the WhatsApp and other social media groups of Bishnoi gang to track the information. Vivek Pansare was reportedly quoted saying, “In April, we received information that some people are conducting recce at the Panvel farmhouse of Salman Khan. We infiltrated our informers and police officers into Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s WhatsApp groups and other social media… We arrested the 4 accused from Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Sambhajinagar… They had also conducted a recce in Bandra.” There are reports suggesting that these members had planned to escape to Sri Lanka after carrying out the mission.

It is due to Blackbuck Poaching Case that Salman Khan crossed paths with Lawrence Bisnoi. The Bisnoi community took offence as Blackbuck is considered to be sacred. Salman Khan has been asked to render an apology by personally visiting the village.
