Lady Gaga has already given Halloween 2025 so much: “Zombieboy,” off her new album, Mayhem, is sure to be a spooky-season anthem, and on “How Bad Do U Want Me,” she already won the costume contest by impersonating Taylor Swift. But she’s got one more trick or treat up her sleeve. Gaga will be dropping a new song, “Drop Dead,” alongside her cameo on season two of Wednesday, two sources told Variety on August 4. The upcoming series’ second season is premiering on August 6 with the second part dropping on September 3. There’s no confirmation on when the song would be released, but Variety speculated “next month.”

Gaga has been associated with the series since season one, when Wednesday Addams’s dance, originally to “Goo Goo Muck,” by the Cramps, went viral on TikTok scored to a sped-up version of Gaga’s song “Bloody Mary.” Now, Gaga will be making an appearance on the show’s new season as Rosalind Rotwood, a legendary teacher at Nevermore. Drop it to “Drop Dead” this October.
