Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has been actively promoting her upcoming movie Emergency, giving back-to-back interviews. However, the release of the film has been delayed, which has disappointed her fans. In her interviews, Kangana has been very open about various topics, including her career, Bollywood, politics, her past relationships, marriage, and even some controversial issues. Recently, a video of Kangana Ranaut went viral where she talked about being criticised for her past actions. She addressed the issue of “s**t-shaming,” explaining how people often judge women based on their appearance or behaviour. The actress was asked about her old videos of dancing and having fun with friends being used to shame her. Ranaut highlighted that this attitude reflects deeper issues in society, especially in countries like India. She joked about how, ten years ago, when she was younger, she would go to nightclubs with her friends, and now people use those moments to make unfair judgements about her. In a video shared by her fan page, the actress tells the host, “This is also a mentality that she is asking for it, she wants it. Why? Because you are collecting this information from your perception through some things. The biggest thing is uska agar body ka koi part dikh raha hai toh woh aapko invite kar rahi hai. You collect this information yourself that she is calling me. Second thing, if that girl is dancing, or laughing with her friends, or is ready to leave, or is with her boyfriend, there are such cases that if she is going out with him, then she is available to other men also.” As for Emergency, the film, which is directed by Kangana herself, was originally set to release on September 6. However, due to some issues related to editing and cuts, the CBFC has delayed its release. In the movie, Kangana plays the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film also features actors like Vishak Nair, Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Satish Kaushik, Shreyas Talpade, and Milind Soman. On Tuesday, the actress shared a new project titled Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata.
