Here’s Who Won Love Island UK

Love Island UK has finally found its top couple to win it all. Apologies to those in the colonies who will have to wait a few more days to watch it on Hulu on August 7. After Sunday night’s brutal elimination, where previously banished Islanders came back to vote off the couple they think is least compatible, Meg and Dejon were dumped. Now, on Monday night’s finale, the final four left standing were: Angel and Ty in fourth, Yasmin and Jamie in third place, followed by Shakira and Harry as the runner-up — the latter three ladies are basically the PPG of the UK. Voting lasted throughout the finale with one final couple left standing: Toni and Cach as the winners of the £50,000 prize. Echoing the victories of Love Island USA, where Amaya and Brian were both the first Hispanic winners and the first Bombshell and Casa boy to win overseas, Cach became the first Casa Amor winner, and Toni became the first American to win the series in the UK. Maybe they’ll get the zoomies to celebrate.

Toni and Cach have had a rollercoaster of a time on the island, to say the least. They met on Casa Amor when Cach came in as a bombshell. When returning to the island, Toni was faced with reuniting with her pre-Casa pairing, Harrison or Cach; she picked the former, breaking Cach’s heart. Well, that’s until Toni found out Harrison had sex with Lauren and reunited with Cach. It wasn’t a perfect reunion, especially during Family Day when Cach’s family expressed disappointment in Toni, but maybe time can heal all wounds.
