Well, though the movie opened to mixed reviews, GOAT managed to get a good response at the box office. Given the extended weekend, The Greatest of All Time movie managed to make some new records at the box office. On day 5, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) featuring Thalapathy Vijay managed to cross the mark of Rs 300 crore. As per Sacnilk.com, the movie made around Rs 14 crore net India collection on first Monday. These are the early estimates. There is a significant drop in numbers from first Sunday as it made around Rs 34 crore as per the portal. Talking about the worldwide collection, in four days, GOAT had touched the mark of Rs 288 crore as per the official numbers shared by production house AGS Entertainment. Thus, adding the Monday numbers, the film has now crossed the mark of Rs 300 crore. In Norway and Finland, GOAT has received a good response as per the posts made by trade analyst Ramesh Bala. With all the massive numbers, GOAT has become the highest grossing Tamil movie of the year 2024 so far as reported by entertainment news sites.

The story of The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) revolves around an elite agent who plans to retire and enjoy a quiet life. However, he gets dragged into the mayhem as a catastrophic disaster revolving around an old case comes lurking. He again jumps into the field to save all. Thalapathy Vijay plays a dual role in the film. Thalapathy Vijay’s movie also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Malvika Sharma, Prashanth Thyagarajan, Yogi Babu and more in pivotal roles.

As of now, GOAT has smoothing sailing at the theatres until Devara Part 1 starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan makes it to the theatres. The film helmed by Koratala Siva is slated to release on September 27.
