In 2018, Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak produced by Karan Johar launched Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in Bollywood. The emotional Bollywood drama that was the Hindi adaptation of Marathi film Sairat. It was a massive commercial success. Janhvi and Ishaan received a great kickstart to their career with this film. Well, now it is time for Dhadak 2. Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions has now officially announced Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. Siddhant Chaturvedi took to his social media to share a teaser video announcing Dhadak 2 and also the release date of the film. The teaser promises that Dhadak 2 would be as tragic, emotional and touching as the first one. Triptii Dimri plays the role of Vidisha while Siddhant plays the role of Neelesh. The movie is expected to touch upon subjects like Dalit lives matter and more as can be seen through the teaser. Will love triumph over all the social norms? We will have to see but it is guaranteed that Dhadak 2 will be one heart touching love story that fans have been missing for a while. Dhadak 2 is going to release on November 22. The film is directed by Shazia Iqbal. The rest of the cast is yet to be unveiled.

Triptii Dimri achieved huge success as she played a pivotal role in Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. She became so famous that fans termed her to be the National Crush. She has now become a favourite of the filmmakers. Apart from Dhadak 2, Triptii also has Bad Newz in her kitty. She will be sharing the screen space with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk.
