Brett Goldstein Had a ‘Woo Woo’ Feeling About Ted Lasso’s Future

When you think “Brett Goldstein,” you probably aren’t thinking about “superstitions,” or “gut feelings,” or frankly anything that doesn’t center logic, reason, or seriousness. But sometimes, that “woo woo” feeling unexpectedly kicks in and gives us another season of Ted Lasso when we least expect it. Thank God for that! Goldstein told the Good One podcast about how, despite Ted Lasso completing its three-season arc, there were still “signs” for more story. “You have this plan, but then this world starts to build in front of you and you fall in love with things you didn’t know you’d fall in love with,” Goldstein explained. “I don’t want to sound too ‘woo woo,’ but you have to stay open to the signs … When the idea is there, you remain open to it and you’re like, ‘Oh! That’s a good one.’ But then you’re like, ‘Fuck! Maybe there is more.’”
