Anupamaa star Rupali Ganguly reveals real reason why she took up TV; says she was treated like an outcast

   

Rupali Ganguly is the top television star today. She has been in the industry for a long time and has given many amazing performances. However, she is loved for her performance in Anupamaa. She is the face of the show and Anupamaa has become the favourite TV show of everyone. The show began in 2020 and is the TRP topper since then. Rupali has a massive fan following now. Rupali Ganguly talks about her struggling days

However, she did not have an easy journey in the entertainment industry. She spoke about her struggling days in an interview with CNBC. She revealed that she was looked down upon because she was doing television. She said that in her earlier days, she had to run her house and hence, she took up whatever roles that came her way. However, she was looked down upon, especially in the Bengali community. She was outcast and people would feel sorry for her as she was doing television shows. However, she did not care about it since she only thought about running her home. Rupali further revealed that she never had ambitions and dreams. She only thought about her father. She said she took up whatever work she got because she did not want her father, Anil Ganguly to be in municipal hospital but be in a good hospital like Leelavati. She and her brother worked hard and took up all that came their way. She shared, “I think me, even my brother, there’s so much respect for whatever little we get that we want to make the maximum out of it. I would do anything for my Papa; he is my inspiration, he is my god, and he still is, of course.”
