Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa has a huge fan following. The show is at the top of the TRP charts and is ruling hearts. Recently, we saw Aashish Mehrotra aka Toshu quitting the show. He will be seen participating Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Aashish had been a part of the show for more than four years and was loved as Toshu. Now, Gaurav Sharma has entered the show as Paritosh Shah aka Toshu. Gaurav was seen in Samridhii Shukla’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He entered Anupamaa a few episodes back and has got all the love for his performance as Toshu. Gaurav Sharma talks about his mother’s reaction on him playing Toshu
Gaurav spoke to BollywoodLife and revealed that he is a mumma’s boy while Toshu is someone who hates his mother and disrespects her. Gaurav shared if he gets affected by Toshu’s toxicity. He said, “Not really. I am completely opposite in realy life. I am a mumma’s boy and not at all a criminal. So, I am Toshu only on the sets and after I leave from there, I am in a ‘pyaar-mohabbat’ mode. I am very happy guy and I don’t take the toxicity anywhere outside the sets. So, things affecting me not an issue for me.” He further spoke about his mother’s reaction to Toshu’s hatred for his on-screen mother, Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly). He said, “Mumma loved my entry where I was doing the puja at home. However, the moment Toshu opened his mouth to speak negative, mumma was like ‘beta tu phirse dekh tu yeh karra hai?’ and then she only corrected herself that its ok as it is just work. She said that I am good boy in real life so its ok. But then I defended saying that even Toshu is also a good person but every person has good and bad qualities. So, Anupamaa had one bad child and now she is behind making his life good.”
