Amitabh Bachchan gets emotional as he pens a heartwarming tribute for his mother Teji Bachchan

On August 11, the legendary actor shared a heartfelt tribute to his mother, Teji Bachchan, in honour of her birth anniversary. In his post, Amitabh Bachchan reminisces about the qualities he cherished most about his late mother, Teji Bachchan. Big B writes, “A day of remembrance for the most beautiful mother of all time, August 12.” Amitabh’s tribute reflects on her strength, warmth, and grace. The Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actor concluded his post by expressing what he misses most about his late mother. The megastar, who has been the highlight of entertainment news for four decades now, remembered his mother’s faith and her love for all things bright and beautiful. Big B added that there was no need for further words. As usual, the superstar signed off his blog with his signature and a folded hand emoji. Teji Harivansh Rai Srivastava Bachchan, born on August 12, 1914, was deeply cherished by Amitabh Bachchan, who has often spoken about the special bond he shared with her. In several interviews, Amitabh has highlighted how inspirational both his mother and father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, were to him. Occasionally, the Sarkar actor shares excerpts from his father’s poetry, ensuring his fans remain connected to his parents’ legacy and understand how deeply he values and misses them. Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the Telugu pan-India film Kalki in 2898 AD. Big B played Ashwatthama in the Nag Ashwin directorial. The science fiction mythological dystopian drama also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan (a special appearance). The movie is a blockbuster at the box office and has earned over 1000 crores at the global level. Ashwin’s film is confirmed to have part two, and it will feature the main cast in their respective roles.

This year, Amitabh Bachchan will appear on screen with Rajinikanth after 33 years in the film Vettaiyan.
