The entire entertainment industry would like to thank Reba McEntire for being a friend. As a tribute to The Golden Girls’s 40th anniversary at the 2025 Emmy Awards, McEntire, along with the women of Little Big Town, sang the show’s iconic theme song “Thank You For Being a Friend.” While they serenaded the audience, the celebrities caught on camera looked pleased as punch to be there. Sarah Paulson snapped along peppily; Shrinking’s Jessica Williams and Michael Urie sang along with the song with big, delighted smiles on their faces; Colin Farrell pursed his lips and snapped while nodding; Connie Britton was on her phone but even she was smiling. Who has a reason to smile at their phones these days? Only people listening to Reba, obviously.
